Glorious Women in Talent Show
Did you know that a small bowl of vinegar is all you need to keep that bad smell out of the house?
Particularly that smell, not the flavour, which remains after cooking......
I have caught your attention on that havn't I ?
Well I got the vinegar idea from an exhibition held recently by the Glorious Women. This years’ programme is the first ever one held in conjunction with the other churches under the umbrella of Living God’s churches.
It was an occasion to exhibit talents through items like crocheting work, tips for home-made curtains, simple and cost effective ways of recycling old clothes into lovely table mats and tray liners. Oh yes!
Also on display were cooked meals which portrayed innovative cooking ideas for those special occasions like weddings, birthdays and Christmas to mention a few. The display was accompanied by short presentations on how to get good results from our cooking.
As a woman and one who encourages home cooking, I can attest to the fact that the most difficult odour to expel out of the house is the one after cooking. The smell from boiling oil and species, especially garlic and onions, and also meat and fish remains with you no matter what you do to neutralize it.
That’s why I find the tip on the use of vinegar as an “odour expellant”, heaven sent for me.
The vinegar should be left to stand in a small bowl somewhere in the kitchen and it’ll do the work for you.
That simple???
Yes that simple!!!!!!
Participants at the exhibition were members of the Glorious Women’s ministry of Leicester and Birmingham as well as representatives of the women’s group from Liberty Christian Centre in Hemel Hempstead.
The rest of the report on the exhibition as well as pictures will be available soon.
Iryna Scott of Glorious Women Leicester, also showed her inspirational paintings. We'll be bringing you a full report on that as well.
